What a week!
So this week Bambam was baptized and confirmed a member of the church!
It was sucha joyous and tender day for this little 9 year old.
I was on exchanges with Sister Tulagan, a new sister missionary to the field and together we shared a lesson to bam before her baptism.
She was so afraid of being baptized because she was afraid she would drown in the water. haha. little children and their imagination.
But it was a tender moment to reassure her that she'd be ok.
That she'd feel peace, happiness, and the joy from the spirit.
With some tears in her eyes, she accepted the invitation to be brave and trust in her heavenly father that she wouldnt drown.
It was super cute once she actually got in the water with Elder Rupp (the baptizer) she seemed so calm, and then she said in her testimony how grateful she was for the teachings of the gospel in her life and is excited to be a member just like her two older sisters.
Even though her parents arent members, im amazed at the strength their children have to take a stand and do what's right.
After the service, she bore her testimony and gratitude for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
She was literally glowing.
I sure loved being apart of her special day.
